About Me
Raised in South Florida as a traditional artist, I obtained much of my inspiration from the ocean, fishing and surfing. Pencil drawing and painting provided me with a strong foundation in composition, colors, and design that in time, I began to incorporate and utilize that talent in my digital art pieces. This foundation was put to the test when I attended college at Full Sail University, having never designed or worked much on a computer before. I fell in love with the vast styles and mediums available through the different design programs that we learned and used while attending Full Sail, and managed to absorb as much as I could from every program and code possible.
Upon graduating Valedictorian with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Digital Art and Design in 2007, I was offered a position at the very same school that allowed me to truly grow as graphic designer, as an instructor in Interactive Media Design and Usability course. This was a wonderful first job, as it became a forte, and I even received a Course Director’s Award the previous year for Interactive Media Design and Usability. I worked at Full Sail for about a year, then I transitioned into a freelance designer when my son was born. I am a family man, so having the chance to work from home during the first few years of my son’s life, watching him grow each day was amazing. About a year later, I was offered a job here in Jacksonville as a graphic and web designer. My family and I discussed the opportunity and made the decision to move for the position, and made our new home in north Florida. We’ve been here ever since and loving it!
I hope you enjoy looking through my portfolio and if you have any questions or want to meet, please don’t hesitate to connect with me!
